VERSE 1
We enter now where angels bow
And stand here face to face
By your blood the temple veil
No longer separates
Bowing here together
In the presence of the Lord
Your cross destroyed forevermore
The shame that we once wore
And we cry
CHORUS
Holy, set apart
we’re worshiping You only
High and lifted up in all Your glory
We cry Holy, Holy
Holy is the Lord
VERSE 2
The stripes You bore
the crown You wore
There’s healing in Your scars
We join the song of victory
That’s sung by all the stars
You invite us to Your table
the gates are open wide
Our hearts are now the
place where heaven
And the earth collide
And we cry
BRIDGE
Take me in to the holy of holies
Take me in by the blood of the Lamb
Take me in to the holy of holies
Take Me in by the blood of the Lamb

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Devotional for Worship Team: What was the Holy of Holies?
The once-for-all-time sacrifice of Christ did away with the necessity of yearly sacrifices, which could never take away sins (Hebrews 10:11). Those sacrifices were merely a foreshadowing of the perfect sacrifice to come, that of the holy Lamb of God, slain for the sins of the world (John 1:29). The Holy of Holies, the very presence of God, is now open to all who come to Christ in faith. Where, before, there was an imposing barrier guarded by cherubim, God has opened a way by the shed blood of His Son. Read more
