Psalm 1 describes the righteous as like a tree planted by streams of water, deeply rooted and nourished by meditating on God’s word day and night.
Those who seek God’s guidance gain strength and comfort, while the ungodly, who reject His ways, are compared to chaff that the wind easily blows away.
Though they may appear secure for a time, God will ultimately separate them from those who are truly His. Yet, anyone who turns to Christ can become a new person, finding joy, peace, and purpose.
This transformation renews one’s heart and actions, shaping them to be more like Christ.
Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! Psalms 1:1
But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, And on His Law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:2
He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalms 1:3
The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind blows away. Psalms 1:4
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. Psalms 1:5
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish. Psalms 1:6

Psalms 1:6
