VERSE 1:
I raise a Hallelujah
In the presence of my enemies
I raise a Hallelujah
Louder than the unbelief
I raise a Hallelujah
My weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah
Heaven comes to fight for me
CHORUS:
I’m gonna sing
In the middle of the storm
Louder and louder
You’re gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes
Hope will arise
Death is defeated
The King is alive
VERSE 2:
I raise a Hallelujah
With everything inside of me
I raise a Hallelujah
I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a Hallelujah
In the middle of the mystery
I raise a Hallelujah
Fear you lost your hold on me
BRIDGE:
Sing a little louder
(Sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder
(Sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder
(Sing a little louder)
Let’s sing a little louder
(Let’s sing a little louder)
Sing a little louder
(In the presence of my enemies)
Sing a little louder
(Louder than the unbelief)
Sing a little louder
(My weapon is a melody)
Sing a little louder
(Heaven comes to fight for me)

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD , I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. Habakkuk 3:17-19
Raise a Hallelujah speaks of the truth that the power of darkness has no hold over us. No matter what kind of problem we face, no matter what insecurities we feel, no matter what illness we have, and even if it seems that death is knocking on our door, Heaven will come to fight for us.
Our weapons will be shouts of praise and melodies of worship. The words of our prayers will raise a hallelujah against the enemy, for our God is capable of performing miracles. We will continue to sing louder, for God will make the darkness flee.
Worshipers’ Reviews
I’ve looked on as the devil rued the day he ever pointed his sword at my daughter. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis. 25 years ago, it was a death sentence. God spoke hope in me, but many times I had to scream a hallelujah in the face of my own unbelief. Today, that woman, that little baby who wasn’t supposed to leave that hospital, not 2 weeks after birth. Who doctors kept speaking their reports of death. That young woman, stronger than any warrior I know, is a missionary…. going to parts of the world that would kill most people who share her disease. She’s got faith that moves mountains. God promised me…and His promises are always made good!! – Cheryl Senyk
We played this at church and let’s just say the place got a little crazy. Because we knew death is defeated and the king was alive!! 🙌🏼 What a song… so powerful. 🔥🔥🔥 – Nathan2505 Worshipper
I watched the first 30 seconds of this video and God confirmed what He spoke to me the 1st day of the year. And that was to approach EVERYTHING with praise this year. Israel won many battles with their praise alone. This is my war stance. Hallelujah is my war cry! Thank you Jesus for the confirmation! … I also thank you for showing us the footage of Jackson praising. It’s awesome to witness the miracle and not just hear about. What an AWESOME encouragement! – Shirake LaFond
I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm ” Believers please pray for me.. I need prayers. I have been preparing for civil service exams and nothing seems happening good. – Ben Shio
Finally! I’ve been looking forward to this one for quite some time now. I just love it! It’s so powerful! And the testimony that goes with it, wow. Thank you Jesus for Jaxon, Hallelujah! – Magnus Wikström
Singing in the Storm
When the storms of life come for you how do you handle the adversity? Do you keep your eyes focused on the raging sea and the whistling winds that continue to roar around you, or do you lift your eyes above the storm and lean in to the Maker of heaven and earth? – Journey to the Hills
Be encouraged! Jesus defeated darkness by His death and resurrection. As believers, we have a hope that is the anchor of our souls — firm and secure. Even in storms, our Savior holds us fast. (Hebrews 6:18-19) We can choose to invite the Lord into our troubles with the full assurance that He understands and will help us. Even in tragedy, we can worship through the darkness, because we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37, 39) – PrayingLikeJesus
You may not have the song to sing, or even the voice to sing. You may not have the strength to raise your hands. You may not have the mental clarity to articulate your theology of suffering. But there’s one thing you can do: Keep. Showing. Up. Approach the throne of grace every day. Multiple times a day. Show up in the presence of God. Keep coming closer. Run harder. You don’t have to possess the right words. God can handle your silence. You don’t have to understand. God can handle your confusion. You don’t have to repress your messy emotions. God wants it all. The enemy’s goal is for you to withdrawal from His presence. To believe the lie that He’s forsaken you. He wants you. He loves you. He doesn’t just love the perfect you or “the-proper-way-to-respond-to-this-situation” you. Just come. He wants to weep with you, enjoy you, identify with you, and be with you. He has not forgotten you. He has not abandoned you. His calling on your life is truer now than ever. When circumstances scream otherwise, believe the truth, beautiful child of God. Believe, believe, believe that He is for you. – David Santistevan
